It is time for the changing of the guards so to speak. Truth Is has done Fantasia and her fans proud and is still #1 after all this time. But as all good things must come to an end We realize Truth Is has finally began to lose spins and Audience impressions. Truth Is still sets at 63.5mil 5 months later and the #2 song on Billboard R&B HipHop Tracks and #1 Adult R&B Song 12 weeks in a row. I would love to send it out with a bang by getting the video and song back into the Top 20 on Yahoo and AOL. If you find it in Your heart please support it the rest of this week by playing the video or the song online
Fantasia has a new barnburner on the charts. Free Yourself. It is doing Super. On Urban AC Less than A month after going for ADDS it is Top 10 giving Fantasia her 2nd Top 10 Hit off this CD. It has been Added to every Urban AC station except 1 and is the #1 gainer this week. On Urban radio Free Yourself is #25 and is a Top 10 gainer for airplay.
Urban Overall She is #15. Free Yourself has yet to go for Adds on Rhythm format but is already a Top 100 hit.
Free Yourself has been in the “Billboard 100” 2 weeks and is #69 in Airplay and #89 on the charts. It is almost Top 20 on R&B HipHop Charts also.

J/19 recording artist Fantasia - the American Idol 3 champion whose RIAA platinum debut album, FREE YOURSELF, unleashed its title-tune second single "Free Yourself" as last week's #1 Most-Added song at Urban Mainstream radio (with 45 huge adds) - is about to embark on her first major U.S. tour since the album's release in November. As the special guest of Motown artist Kem, Fantasia will open 3 weeks of dates on June 8th at the Pageant Theatre in St. Louis, wrapping up in Atlanta's Fox Theatre on July 1st. "Free Yourself," produced and co-written by Missy Elliott (one of three tracks she contributed to the album), was also this week's #2 Most Added at the Urban Adult format, where it picked up 107 adds and jumped 5 points to #19-bullet. The song got a strong boost when Fantasia performed it last week on NBC's Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
"Free Yourself" is the follow-up to "Truth Is" (the first single from the album) which shows no signs of letting go at radio after more than 5 months out. The Soulshock & Karlin-produced hit "Truth Is" has held the #1 spot on the Urban Adult chart for 11 consecutive weeks. It also has the most one-week airplay totals ever on an adult record in Billboard and Billboard Monitor history with 1558 spins in the issues dated April 15. The video (directed by Diane Martel) stays in Power rotation at BET and in medium rotation on VH1's Soul Digital Channel.
American Idol audiences are still reeling from Fantasia's triumphant guest return to the show on April 6th, when she performed "I Believe" and "Truth Is" to a standing ovation. (On July 22nd, Fantasia will perform "Free Yourself" and two other songs live, on ABC's Good Morning America summer concert series.) Meanwhile, Urban Mainstream radio is also playing a third track, "Baby Mama" (co-written and produced by Harold Lilly). As a result of all this exposure, FREE YOURSELF rose 5 points to #25 bullet on the Billboard 200 albums chart and jumped 2 points to #7-bullet on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
With Nielsen Soundscan reporting sales of more than 1.3 million copies of FREE YOURSELF, 2005 has been a resoundingly successful year for Fantasia - "the first American Idol to count as a discovery" (San Francisco Chronicle) and "the American Idol champ most likely to become a genuine pop idol" (People). After performing "Truth Is" on BET's Celebration Of Gospel special and on Soul Train both in February, she co-hosted the 19th annual Soul Train Awards gala in March, and performed a medley of "Baby Mama" and "Free Yourself" on the big night. Later that month, Fantasia was named Outstanding New Artist at the 36th annual NAACP Image Awards.
The High Point, North Carolina native and single mother had her name carved into chart record books as the first artist in the history of Billboard's Hot 100 to debut at #1 with her first single, "I Believe" - which went on to become the best selling single of 2004, according to Nielsen Soundscan charts.

First a little explanation FMQB is one of the largest radio programming Magazine available Programmers read this mag to know what's up, whats hot, not just who has a cd out. It is the hardest mag to get in and it appeals to independent listeners Fantasia was there last year as the artist to watch and she has received 3 small mentions since then I have checked every week to catch her on Street Pulse which tells what CD is hot at the independent die hard stores. Almost 5 months later after her appearance on AI She made the chart for the first time at #3 This week she is #8 When an artist can get selling power in these stores in gives the cd a lot of street cred  Also the Truth Is remix is now #3 on These are personal charts from people who do not listen to radio but listen to 365 and internet radio where they can program what they listen to and the stations play every genre of music. Regular Truth Is and Baby Mama never made the chart. Free Yourself made in way back in October from the 5 samples  |

Nearly one year after waking up as America's newest instant pop star, Fantasia refuses to take her finger off the snooze button.
"Every day is like I'm dreaming, and I can't wake up now," Fantasia says of the unbelievable moments that now comprise her daily life. "I try to be like, 'OK, this has been going on for a while,' but it still gives me a rush. It's like I'm on a rollercoaster ride that just keeps going."
Truth is, the events of Fantasia's past year weren't dreams or even heavy doses of the surreal. They were, in fact, real.
